Avenged Sevenfold - Nightmare

The artwork for the Album 'Nightmare' by Avenged Sevenfold features a darker range of colours which successfully matches the albums themes and title 'nightmare'. The artwork also features the bands name in a white font which makes the name stand out and let the viewer know who the band is right away, the bands name also written in the their personal font. Avenged Sevenfold has an 'brand logo' known as the Death Bat (Which is a human skull with bat wings) which has featured throughout all their work, this album features an altered version of the Death Bat but this time it is shown as a grim reaper type figure, the use of an altered version of the Death Bat gives the album a unique style yet stays true to the bands identity. The image on the cover is of a girl in bed thats in a strange environment looking scared, this is done to match the image to the albums title 'Nightmare' as the girl featured is clearly having one. A final feature on the albums cover is a gravestone that reads 'foREVer' this in reference to the bands drummer Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan who past away a couple months prior to the albums completion and release.
Blink-182 - The Mark, Tom and Travis Show

This album uses a wide selection of bright colours which are to resemble the lights that you would see at a live gig, which is relevant as the album is a recording of a live performance by Blink-182. The image used on the album also shows that the album is a live performance as it features a cartoon version of the band performing to a crowd.
